Today I am posting the information and pictures of the orphanage which we are working for...
Sri Krishna Anatha Shishu Nivas

Sri Krishna Anatha Shishu Nivas( Regd), is an initiative dedicated to the cause of bringing up orphaned children. They provide them with basic needs of living and education facilities. They believe in honing their skills and talents to ensure that they turn out to be responsible citizens of our country.
There are 53 orphans (32 boys and 21 girls) under their care. The orphanage receives a Govt. aid of Rs 8/- per day per child. However, it is not sufficient and the expenses on educating and nurturing them are borne by the organization itself with the help of benevolent donors.
Efforts are being made to improve the infrastructure of the orphanage by setting up of beds and cots, cupboards and furniture for which the organization requires funding.
The organization is headed by Professor T. Keshava Bhat (President), Sri M.U Kannaiah (Secretary). They hope to make a difference in the lives of those children who are deprived of parental love.

This the condition of roof of the orphanage.

This is how the food is prepared using fire-wood.

These are the people who work to maintain the place and prepare the food for the children.

Have a look at the pictures of the children and the place they live in.

We cannot bring back what they have lost, but through our support and care we hope to bring a smile on their face and a difference in their lives. We require your help and support to make their dreams come true.
